    Nova Pyra 25619 is founded at Mandeville Junior High — a revival of robotics inspired by the myth of Prometheus and the sister team of FRC S.S. Prometheus.

    Rookie season begins at the FTC Louisiana INTO THE DEEP kickoff event in Denham Springs, LA.

    FTC Louisiana Qualifier 1

    Rookie debut at Hammond High Magnet School. Finished rank #6 with a 3-3-0 record and earned the Innovate Award.

    FTC Louisiana Qualifier 2

    Competed at Walker High School. Finished rank #6 with a 4-2-0 record and earned the Innovate Award.

    Louisiana State Champions

    Won the Think Award and the Louisiana Regional Championship in our rookie season, qualifying for the FIRST Championship.

    Represented Nova Pyra at the New Orleans STEM Festival alongside FIRST and other FTC teams, developing new connections across the engineering and robotics community.

    DDG & Intralox Facility Tours

    Toured DDG headquarters and the Intralox engineering facility in Hammond, LA to explore real-world engineering processes and STEM career paths. DDG became a key sponsor through mentor Brad Villemeur.

    Attended the Louisiana teacher convention at Raising Cane's Baton Rouge River Center to discuss STEM mentoring opportunities and grow the FIRST Pipeline across Louisiana.

    Hosted STEM Nights at Mandeville Elementary and Pontchartrain Elementary schools to introduce students and teachers to the FIRST community and recruit new teams.

    Drive team competed in mock-game matches at St. Thomas Aquinas High School with FTC teams 23264, 30727, and 18380, sharpening competition readiness before State.
